State Age Note
In Kansas, you may create a will if you are 16 years or older if you are married, if you are not married you must be 18 years old.
In Virginia, you may create a will starting at 16 years old if you have been emancipated, if you have not been emancipated you must be 18 years old.
In Texas, you must be 18 years old to create a will, but you may create one at a younger age if you are a member of the armed forces, are married, or have ever been married.
In Indiana, you must be 18 years old to create a will, unless you are a member of the armed forces.
