Sales Account Executive

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive expertise in the Giving Docs product and value proposition
  • Meet or exceed sales revenue targets via prospecting, pipeline funnel management, proposal development, and meeting management
  • Meet or exceed sales activity goals related to demo pitches, proposals, and signed contracts
  • Conduct prospect research and compile key insights to inform sales pipeline
  • Identify, contact, and schedule meetings with qualified sales prospects
  • Bring or develop expertise in using our CRM system, HubSpot, to manage the sales process
  • Manage data quality, reports and dashboards, workflows, proposal and pitch development, email follow up, and other tasks related to a successful sales operation
  • Lead logistics on key sales events, including webinars, industry conference sponsorships, in-person sales meetings, and/or speaking engagements, including tracking deadlines, and
  • Partner successfully with internal team and external partners to identify and close new business opportunities
  • Balance the needs of the business, prospective customers, current customers, and the internal team in all situations

About You

  • 5+ years of direct experience in B2B technology sales; experience in nonprofit, education, business, legal, and/or other relevant sectors a plus
  • Documented track record of successfully hitting sales targets and managing a pipeline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable interacting with sales leads
  • Exceptional attention to detail; loves a to-do list and managing tasks
  • Tech savvy, comfortable working in databases, and familiarity with CRM tools
  • Knowledge of G Suite tools
  • Creative, resourceful, and hungry to learn and succeed
  • Familiarity with sales tools, processes, and technology
  • Capability to perform administrative support functions flawlessly
  • High degree of empathy, with a demonstrated ability to listen carefully to and engage meaningfully with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Desire to not merely meet customer expectations, but seek opportunities to delight
  • Excellent at working within teams to achieve ambitious goals
  • Highly energetic, enthusiastic, and engaging with all stakeholders
  • Comfortable moving quickly in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • High bar for quality, rigor, and integrity in your own work, as well as your colleagues'
  • Smarts, tenacity, fortitude, and drive to both uncover creative solutions to existing projects, and to help bring projects to fruition

Salary and Benefits

  • Base salary of $80,000 with OTE of $160,000 and uncapped performance-based commission
